I usually see huge traffic spikes when I advertise through Adwords. Way beyond just the total number of clicks my ads got.

Yes advertising with Google ad words is always beneficial as i am also using it sometimes it fails but maximum time it works.

I heard from others that the demographic advertising in google adwords is somewhat effective. It of course has to be done at a higher cost per click option to get better exposure. Google adwords is okay.

It costs a lot imo for what it offers. You end up paying maybe a $1++ for each click in. That's a lot when good traffic is in the x,xxx+ mark. I found projectwonderful to be a good cheap alternative
